Deep and inky in color. Earthy nose of black currents and black cherries with a hint of raspberry. Spice tones of clove and a hint of coffee. Mouth of black cherries, plum and currents followed by soft tannins and tones of clove, pepper, coffee and toasted nuts.
Aromas of plum, toasted chestnuts, sassafras, vanilla and white pepper lead to flavors of blackberries, olallieberries and stone fruit and layers of spices including clove, allspice, cinnamon and nutmeg. This wine has a long lingering finish with notes of leather and rich complex tannins.

You people probably think it’s a piece of cake cranking out these amusing and pithy wine tasting notes don’t you? Well, it’s hell I tell you, and right now cake is about the furthest thing from my mind. Hmmm... you know, this Albarino might taste really good with cake, maybe a nice pear spice cake to go with the spicy peach and pear aromas, and Summery flavors of citrus and white peaches. This lovely big 2010 Malbec has been our best seller. With its spicy sweetness, complex layers of flavors and earthy overtones, this wine fills the mouth, has a beautiful jammy front and a lovely lingering finish on the palate.
This is a blend of 75% Zinfandel and 25% Cabernet Sauvignon. The warm aromas of spiced berries and earthy pepper greet the nose, following on the palate with rich flavors of vanilla and cherry and the perfect touch of spice. The long, lingering finish will leave you begging for more. An excellent pairing for big, rich meaty dishes.

A beautiful Foothill Petite Sirah as the vineyards sit above 2000 feet where day and night time temperatures vary dramatically allowing for the grapes to develop wonderful ripe fruit characteristics while maintaining a bright fresh fruit palate.
